In a normal game of poker, both the “buyer” and “seller” will raise when it is their turn to act. However, in a “blinds” game, one player will act and the other will not. After the blinds are finished, the pot will be adjusted to include both of the bets made by the buyers (the “buyer’s” hand), and the seller’s hand. Then, after the last betting round, all of the blinds will be closed, and the pot will be topped off.
However, there are several other types of Poker variant that are worth exploring. For example, high hand and low hand play are very similar in many ways. They can also be played out in a very similar manner. The only real difference between the two is that in high hand games, you will generally want to act early and often. Also, in low hand games, you may find that the pot is controlled by early play, and that late plays are less important.
